ViVitro Labs will highlight the ViVitro Endovascular Simulator, SuperPump, and Pulse Duplicator with Model Left Heart for cardiovascular device testing and research in booth 950 at Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) 2019. TCT 2019 takes place on September 25-29, 2019, at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, CA.
ViVitro Labs Major Accounts Manager Douglas Bigrigg, Lab Manager Rob Fraser, R&D Engineering Manager Ian Chen, and China Distributor Shining Sun will be on hand to demonstrate products and answer any questions.
The ViVitro Labs Endovascular Simulator provides physiological pulsatile flow and pressures mimicking endovascular procedures in a clinically relevant environment. It is designed for simulated-use testing and endovascular simulation training of endovascular devices. ISO 5840, ISO 25539, and ISO 7198 standards include simulated use guidelines. The Endovascular Simulator provides functional design testing for:
- stents
- stent grafts
- balloons
- wires
- coils
- filters
- transcatheter heart valves
The Pulse Duplicator simulates the function of the heart (left or right) by generating pulsatile flow through prosthetic heart valves placed in the Model Left Heart. Powered by the ViVitro SuperPump, it is composed of the Model Left Heart, SuperPump, Flow Measuring System and ViViTest data acquisition system. The components work together to assess the performance of prosthetic heart valves under simulated cardiac conditions. The Pulse Duplicator System is used by the US Food and Drug Administration and is recognised by regulatory bodies worldwide including TÜV, BSI and the Chinese SFDA.
The SuperPump provides maximum operator control with precision accuracy. The pump can be controlled by preconfigured waveforms or by customizable ViViTest software input.
